CONCERT VIDEOS: Fleetwood Mac @ Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam

Fleetwood Mac performed in concert at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on Monday evening, another sold-out show. Like in Britain, the band has formed a strong, loyal following of fans among the Dutch people over the years. Because of the band’s popularity in The Netherlands, Fleetwood Mac will return to Ziggo Dome at the end of the month on the 26th, the last show of the European tour.

Stevie lamented that she couldn’t speak German to the crowd, but gave them a warm greeting in English. “I wish I could speak German,” she told the audience. “I really wish I could speak your language, and someday maybe I’ll be able to learn it. But, in English, we so glad you came tonight.”

Fleetwood Mac continues its tour of “the low countries” (terminology referring to these countries’ geography) by performing in Belgium on Wednesday night.

Vera van Roos, who attended the show, drew this cute picture of the band and wrote captions that described what she saw. A rough translation of her comments is provided below:

Stevie Nicks was the honored fairy (in black) still so sweet and funny and Gold Dust Woman was ENCHANTING. And she looked like 25 rather than 65.

Lindsey Buckingham played great and even did I’m So Afraid… (I peed in my pants from pure joy)

And Mick Fleetwood… EVEN WORE THE PANTS WITH THE “RUMOURS” BALLS!!!

John McVie was the steady dude in the back…and played “The Chain” as if it was 1977.

Fleetwood Mac – Thanks
