Stevie enjoys ballet and dance. She once wanted to be a ballerina but focused on rock and roll instead.
Prior to starting Fleetwood Mac’s Tusk recording sessions in 1978, Stevie took weekly ballet lessons. “I love it,” she said at the time. “My neck is stretching out and I’m walking around all graceful. At three in the morning I’m doing pliés. I have this little room in my house, it’s like a baby nursery, but since there’s no baby I’m mirroring the walls and putting up a ballet bar. It’ll be my studio. I’m not trying to be a prima ballerina — at 29 it’s too late for that — but I figure that I can be good” (Duffey, 1978).
At her former Phoenix property, she had built a ballet studio, where she practiced ballet and dance.
