On September 4, Warner Music Japan will be reissuing most of Fleetwood Mac’s pre-1975 catalog (Then Play On, Kiln House, Future Games, Bare Trees, Penguin, Mystery to Me, and Heroes Are Hard to Find) on high-fidelity, SHM (Super High Material) CD format. Compatible with standard CD players, the CDs will be housed in mini cardboard album sleeves. The SHM-CDs can be pre-ordered from CD Japan now. Familiar songs from this era include Christine McVie’s “Spare Me a Little of Your Love” and Bob Welch’s “Hypnotized” and “Sentimental Lady.”
As previously reported, Warner Bros. will be reissuing a series of Fleetwood Mac vinyl albums on August 20. There is a preview of the reissued albums at The Second Disc. Fleetwood Mac’s 1969 album Then Play On will also receive a deluxe CD edition treatment.
