Teaser tracks ‘My Heart,’ ‘Thousand Days,’ ‘One More Big Time Rock and Roll Star’ all streaming online now
Rhino has issued “My Heart” for digital streaming one day ahead of the release of Stevie Nicks‘ highly anticipated Complete Studio Albums & Rarities, which drops on Friday. Rhino previously serviced “Thousand Days” (1991) and “One More Big Time Rock and Roll Star” (1985) also from Rarities.
“My Heart,” an obscure bonus track on the U.S. Barnes & Noble and international editions of Stevie’s of 2011 album In Your Dreams (2011), dates back to her 2001 album Trouble in Shangri-La. Stevie recorded the track during those sessions but ultimately decided not to include it on the album. Fast forward to 2011, Stevie completely overhauled the track by changing some of the lyrics and using a different melody. Both versions are great, so it’s refreshing to know that the song is getting a new life on Complete Studio Albums & Rarities.
