    White Winged Dove Tour (1981)

Stevie Nicks supported the release of her debut solo album Bella Donna with a short national tour. It was dubbed the White Winged Dove Tour, a reference to the song “Edge of Seventeen.” Despite the great success of the tour, Stevie limited the tour to only 10 shows so she could immediately reunite with Fleetwood Mac in Hérouville, France to start recording the band’s album 13th album Mirage in early 1982. Stevie performed at “Peace Sunday” in Pasadena later that year on June 6, 1982.

The last two nights of the short tour were filmed for an HBO concert special, which featured some of the songs in the set list. Additional songs were broadcast on The Source, an NBC radio network that operated during the 1970s and 1980s. In 2016, those songs were remastered and reissued for the CD deluxe edition of Bella Donna.
