100 amazing Fleetwood Mac shows…and counting!

Fleetwood Mac returned to First Direct Arena in Leeds, West Yorkshire, on Sunday night, performing the 100th show of their world tour. The band wraps up the two-month, European tour this week, with four remaining shows in Birmingham, Glasgow, and Dublin (2).

Stevie dedicated “Landslide” to the Leeds residents and its Kirkstall Abbey, a ruined Cistercian monastery in West Yorkshire (pictured below). “I’m so enchanted by it. So I’m already planning my trip back to [visit]. I just wanted you to know you’re very lucky to live in a city with something as beautiful as that, and as powerful as that. So anyway, I’d like to dedicate this next song to you and your amazing Abbey.”

At the end of the song, Stevie joked, “So you might read somewhere: ‘Stevie Nicks has moved to Kirkstall Abbey.’ It could be true. Thank you (points to the audience).”
