“It’s Covers Days!” proclaimed Grammy-award-winning artist Melissa Etheridge, who hosted a live-stream event from home on her Facebook page today. She paid homage to the one-and-only Stevie Nicks, performing an acoustic version of Stevie’s Hollywood-inspired “After the Glitter Fades” from Bella Donna.
“Being a rock and roll woman, I was a fan of Stevie Nicks,” Melissa said. After the performance, she shared a story of meeting Stevie at the A&M recording studio. “One day I was recording and in walks Stevie Nicks — whoa! She was a sweetheart, a really great woman.”
