Stevie Nicks will be releasing the new single “The Lighthouse” on Friday. In a spooky teaser clip, Stevie’s silouhette dances mysteriously in a lighthouse as birds (perhaps white-winged doves or nightbirds) fly around ominously. And the battle cry “I wanna teach you to fight” plays in the background.
The bold new track, which is available for pre-save now, borrows from “Get It Back,” a poem Stevie had written back in September 2022. We’ll have to wait until Friday to see if it’s the same project, but it sure sounds like it!

I wrote this song a few months after Roe v. Wade was overturned. It seemed like overnight, people were saying “what can we, as a collective force, do about this…” For me, it was to write a song.
