Lyrics
Starshine
Oh, you used to be silver
Loveline, love affair
Well, you used to make me shiver
He said, “Whoa, this is the price we’ve finally paid”
I said, “I don’t believe you
I need you…I need you to stay”
She said, “Baby, we’ve been together for such a long time”
And I said, ooh I said,
“Playing with fire was wrong!”
She used to be silver
Loveline, love affair
You used to make me shiver
Whoa, this is the price that I’ve finally paid
I said, “Well, I don’t believe you
well, I need you…I need you to stay”
She said, “But we’ve been together for.”
And I said, “Playing with fire was..
Playing with fire was..
This is the price that we’ve finally”
Starshine
Well, you used to be silver
Ooh, now you used to be silver
Loveline, love affair
Well, you used to make me shiver
He said, “Baby, this is the price that we have finally paid”
I said, “I don’t believe you
And I need you
And I need you to stay”
She said, “But we’ve been together for, for so long”
Well, I said…I said
“Playing with fire was wrong”
Used to be silver
Long, long, run away on down
You used to make me shiver
Run away, run away
Won’t you run away, my baby
Well, I told you what to do with your life
But you did not save me
I told you what to do with your life
But you did not save me
