Stevie Nicks shows off her fabulous hidden talent on The Late Late Show with James Corden!
Stevie Nicks appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden — twirling a baton! A skilled twirler since her high school days, Stevie was nearly flawless until the baton unexpectedly conked her on the head. Of course, her reaction of faux-outrage was adorably priceless. Host James Cordon shared a looping animated GIF photo on social media, showcasing Stevie’s hidden talent, which momentarily crashed the Internet.
Stevie’s charming baton-twirling was part of James Corden’s “Up-in-Coming Celebrity Hidden Talents” segment, which also included the hidden talents of bird-noise-making Kendall Jenner, flying-food-catching Taylor Lautner, and back-flipping Andrew Garfield (see the clips below).
Stevie’s segment was taped last October when both she and Taylor appeared on the show together.
Transcript
James Corden: Hello, good evening. What’s your name and where are you from?
Stevie Nicks: Stephanie Nicks. I’m from uh… I was born in Phoenix, but I was actually reborn in San Francisco in 1969.
JC: And what do you do?
SN: I’m a struggling singer.
JC: All right, what’s your hidden talent?
SN: For some reason, I actually learned how to twirl the baton.
JC: Here we go. We’re going to see it tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, Stephanie Nicks, take it away!
JC: Whoa! Ladies and gentlemen, what a treat!
Now, this isn’t the first time Stevie’s showed off her baton-twirling talent in public. You may recall Stevie’s 2011’s music video for “Secret Love,” where a clip of Stevie twirling the baton appeared for a nano second.
Fans are probably more familiar with Stevie’s baton-twirling in Fleetwood Mac’s 1979 music video for “Tusk,” where the act received some serious airtime.
