On Saturday night, Stevie Nicks shared her reaction to watching Global Citizen’s One World: Together at Home virtual event. She was touched by the performances from Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli and others, describing them as “a moment of beauty amidst the horror of this virus.”
Lady Gaga kicked off the television broadcast special with a piano rendition of Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile,” popularized by Nat King Cole, which followed the globally curated digital livestream. The livestream began at 2 p.m. ET on numerous streaming platforms, and included appearances by Adam Lambert, Andra Day, Jason Segel, Jessie Reyez, Rita Ora, Samuel L Jackson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sebastián Yatra, Sho Madjozi, and many more.
