Rare Fleetwood Mac videos from Texas Archive surface

Two rare Fleetwood Mac videos, courtesy of the Jim Ruddy Collection at the Texas Archive, have surfaced. The first video, circa 1975 or 1976, features an interview with Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks. The second video from 1978 is an interview with Mick Fleetwood at the Cotton Bowl.

Interview with Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks (1975 or 1976)

This short film from Dallas-based producer Jim Ruddy features a portion of an interview with Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks from 1975 or 1976. Topics covered include changes in the band’s sound, the songwriting and production process, hit singles and their monumental tour in support of the 1975 self-named Fleetwood Mac album.

Behind the Scenes with Mick Fleetwood at the Cotton Bowl (1978)

This video from the Jim Ruddy Collection shows footage of the production team and road crew preparing the stage at the Cotton Bowl for the July 23, 1978 Fleetwood Mac and Steve Miller concert on their 1978 American Tour. The bulk of the video is an interview of Mick Fleetwood, a founding member and the drummer for Fleetwood Mac.
