On November 2, 2022, Stevie Nicks performed at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodland, Texas. Stevie was originally scheduled to perform this show on October 9th, but had to postpone it due to non-COVID respiratory illness.
During “Landslide,” Stevie brought out her dog Lily and dedicated the special song to her “soulmate,” a title previously held by her dearly departed Yorkie Sulamith. Stevie telepathically interpreted and translated Lily’s thoughts into an adorable child-like voice. “I am from Houston, Texas, everyone,” Lily told the crowd. “And I love coming back to my home state. And I just wanted you to know that I really love Texas, and California is okay, but Mom and I have been doing pretty good in California. And I’ve been on the road for three years of the six years of my life,” Lily then said to guitarist Waddy Wachtel, “Hello, Waddy. You’re playing some damn fine guitar. Thanks a lot.” Hilarious!
Vanessa Carlton was the support act.
