Stevie Nicks performed at Mortgage Matchup Center (PHX Arena) in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday night, the third show of the 2025 tour. Born in Phoenix, Stevie reminisced about owning a home and living in the desert area for 20 years. She raved, “These are my hometown folks! — I miss you!”
Night Traveler was the opening act. Stevie mentioned that she had listened to the band’s music while in bed painfully recovering from her broken shoulder, saying that their songs were “very influential in healing [her].”

Not Fade Away
“Thank you! You know this is my hometown. I was born here, I was, and I love this place. It’s like, when we flew in the night before last, without even realizing that we had moved away…I don’t know, about 10 years, 15 years ago…I was like, we’re home, right? And it just happens, when you say we’re at home now and you look, well, but you’re not really because we don’t have a house here. But in spiritual terms, we are home. And it’s really good to be home, because you know I wrote a lot of songs here. I had a house here for 20 years, and in that 20 years, a lot…so much creativity happened here. And the desert was… Every time I would leave Los Angeles, I’d go like, I’m just going to really miss the ocean, you know? I don’t know, I’ll miss the ocean. And then I’d get here, and I’d go like, I’m not missing the ocean — at all. So it was like a complete… There is something in the desert that’s a lot like the ocean. It’s like a certain grand sound like the ocean goes [vocalizes] And the desert also goes [vocalizes]. Okay, I know, I had to tell them. These are my hometown folks — I miss you!
So anyway, one other thing that I want you to know, to have been such a good audience for Night Traveler, because I want you to know that when I got sick, I mean I didn’t get sick, when I broke my shoulder, for about eight weeks, I was like pretty much in bed and in a lot of pain and I listened to their music pretty much 98% of the time and it’s like they were very, very influential in healing me. And I’m not saying that just to be a nice person. I’m telling you that because it’s true. So if you’re not feeling good and you need some, just some loving words and sounds and guys in your life, play that music because you’ll be happy that you did.
All right, let’s get this party started!”
The Lighthouse
“This next song was written about two and half years ago, and it was written in one day in Chicago at a dining room table in a hotel on Garage Band and it was done. And then we spent the next two and half years going across the United States and giving it people, going like, ‘Would you like playing on this? How do feel about playing about that? Do you like it? And people would go, ‘Okay!” I call it now ‘The Song of the Traveling Pants.’
“Anyway, two and half years later, we got to go and play it on Saturday Night Live. And then guess what? The tour ended! I never got to sing it. Like I never got to sing it. So anyway, I’m singing it now. This is for you. It’s called ‘The Lighthouse'”

About Night Traveler
NIGHT TRAVELER’s name is remarkably apt: all of their music simmers with the subtle sensuality of a late-night drive, or a last-call at a local dive bar (EARMILK). Known for their pocket grooves and emotive melodies, their slow burn approach has connected with fans worldwide for years.
With their confessional lyrics and near-spiritual musical offerings, the band has drawn comparisons to the likes of The War on Drugs and The National (Variance Magazine), and has been featured on platforms such as MTV, Monday Night Football, and Spotify’s All New Rock, Soda and Night Pop editorial playlists.
Both members, Adam Fischer and Hunter Glaske, share a focus on compelling visuals, having amassed over 150k followers across Spotify and YouTube. They often accompany releases with behind-the-scenes footage to document their songwriting and recording processes.
The band released their sophomore album “Hotspot” in November of 2024.
