Stevie Nicks has added a pair of shows at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL on September 8th and 10th. Though the shows have yet to be confirmed by Stevie herself, they already appear on Ravinia’s official calendar.
On Sunday night, Stevie performed a second show at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL.
After starting off the night with “Gold and Braid,” Stevie joked that she thought Ravinia sounded like one of the Seven Kingdoms on Game of Thrones, a reference to the popular HBO series of which Stevie is a big fan. She also dropped a “white witch” reference, asking the audience for a broom so she could fly over to those sitting in the lawn area and sing to them.

Ravinia, North America’s oldest music festival, stands today as its most musically diverse, presenting over 140 different events throughout the summer. These concerts run the gamut from Yo-Yo Ma to John Legend to the annual summer residency of the nation’s finest orchestra, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
The 36-acre park is nestled in a gently wooded area that makes it an enchanting place to experience music. Guests can bring their own picnics or eat at one of the park restaurants. Children up to age 15, high school and college students are admitted free to the lawn for classical performances.

“So this little bitty song is one more thing to say dreams come true — they do. What did I know? I was so young and I just like, just right off the top of my head, wrote it down, put it in my pocket, put some guitar on it. So anyway, you can do it. This is ‘Landslide.’”
“Stevie Nicks was on fire last Saturday night. She eased into the evening creating smoke right from the start with her voice strengthening and the energy building as the night progressed.” (Carole Kuhrt Brewer / Chicago Now)
